The Lake County Parks Gardening Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. the the Lake County Parks Greenhouse, located east of the Park & Visitor Services facility at 8305 Randolph Street or in specific locations depending on activities.   Meetings are free.
Join others interested in the leading leisure-time activity in the United States - gardening.  Memebers learn how to solve gardening problems and care of plants, trees and shrubs.  They visit area garden shops and hold workshops and activities.  Members also learn from the Lake County Park Department's horticultural staff, led by Bryan McKay.  They have access to the Park Department's greenhouses as well as the oppotunity to volunteer in various parks across the county.  This is an active club.  Anyone not on the newsletter list may wish to call (219) 947-7275 to check the location prior to attending their first meeting.
