Valparaiso….The Humane Society of Northwest Indiana is hosting a pet adoption and “Bowtique”this Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hop-n-Stop Convenience Store located at 526 W US 30 on the corner of U.S #30 and 500W.
The Pet Adoption will feature a doggy and cat “Bowtique” and some give away items. Anyone, who successfully completes an adoption application and is approved to adopt an animal, will receive a free “Dogs Rule” flash drive for their computer...

From Last Chance Rescue :
Shadow and Buddy traveled all the way across the country with their owners, who thought they were getting a home here in the Midwest. Unfortunately, the deal fell through, and sadly, they had nowhere to go and were sitting by their U-Haul trailer next to a sign that read “Please give my dogs a good home.” Heartbreaking.
Thankfully, a kind Samaritan stopped and took them temporarily, but she cannot keep them permanently.
