Apple Says What You Say to Siri Stored for 5 Years

When you speak to Siri, the iPhone personal assistant, she's not the only one who's listening. Critics are suggesting she's a secret spy of sorts. ABC News reports Apple has already admitted recording every word you say to Siri, but now the company is acknowledging it saves the information for up to 5 years. Apple insists it's all done anonymously, using randomly generated numbers to represent users, not Apple ID's or screen names, and they're only using it to help improve Siri's voice recognition capability and make her more responsive to you. Tech experts say Google and plenty of other companies do it too but privacy advocates say it should make you think before you speak to Siri.
