Microsoft is ending technical support for Windows XP computers Tuesday April 8th. You'll have to pay to upgrade to a new operating system if you want your data to remain secure. Once that support ends, said Meister, "as soon as somebody finds an exploit in the system, it's not going to be patched by Microsoft themselves. You're going to have to rely on things like your anti-virus system and then updates for other things like Adobe Flash, Java, the driver updates from your PC manufacturer, that sort of thing to help protect that system."
