The Tri-Creek School Board recently approved the ground work for a new way of teaching that promises to boost the graduation rate and college acceptance. Staff members from New Tech Network of Napa, California, are in town laying the foundation for a New Tech secondary school that stresses project-based context and smart use of technology, according to http://www.nwitimes.com. New Tech is a non-profit organization that helps students gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in life, college and the careers of tomorrow, according to its website.
