The search for the missing New York man is in the third day in the waters of Lake Michigan off Beverly Shores. Indiana D-N-R conservation officer Terri Arlandson told Northwest Indiana's Newsroom that the complexion of the search has changed from below the water to above the surface as by now and with the hot temperatures a submerged body will surface sooner than in cooler conditions. Arlandson also said that boats with side-scan radar, for searching beneath the surface can be called back in at any time.
