Hobart Seeks Kayak Concessionaire

It's a new program in Hobart... called, “Float Our Boat". Hobart Director of Development Denarie Kane says the city is seeking proposals for a concessionaire to  provide kayaks for rent on Lake George on the downtown portion of the lake.  Kane says the Redevelopment Commission has agreed to fund the kayak purchases, life jackets and paddles up to two-thousand dollars.     The deadline for proposals is 4 pm tomorrow//Wednesday June 27 and the city is hoping to roll out the program by July fourth.
