The town of Lowell has issued a thirty-day water sprinkling ban effective as of Tuesday (yesterday July 24). The action follows the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and Department of Natural Resources issuing a Water Shortage Warning for the entire state. All customers of the Lowell Water Utility whose street address ends in an EVEN number can water lawns, wash cars, or fill pools on even-numbered days of the week... customers whose street address ends in an ODD number are allowed to water lawns, wash vehicles and fill swimming pools on odd-numbered days of the week.
