Expect Delays on Ridge Rd

The Munster Public Works Department says Ridge Road between Calumet Avenue and Harrison Avenue will be reduced to one westbound lane beginning 6 AM on Thursday (8/16/2012) and continuing through Friday evening for underground utility work. Access to local businesses on the north side of Ridge Road may be temporarily restricted so patrons should use Seaburger to access those parking lots. Also, Jackson Avenue will be closed at Ridge Road.  Due to the anticipated heavy traffic congestion during the work the town is urging motorists to use either Interstate 80/94 or 45th Street as alternates.
