The District Commander of the Indiana State Police Lowell Post received a award on Monday for his support of the National Guard and Reserve. Public Information Officer Sergeant Ann Wojas says Lieutenant Jerry Williams received the Patriotic Employer Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, for his encouragement and active support to the personnel who serve in the Hoosier Guard and Reserve. There are four state troopers out of the Lowell Post, who are in the National Guard.
