Authorities are asking motorists to avoid northbound State Road 49 at County Road 500 North due to a crash. Valparaiso Police Sergeant Michael Grennes says if possible, try to avoid that area until about 2:15 this afternoon. He says the crash did cause minor injuries, and no further information is available at this time.
