Indiana HS Graduation Rate Up

Indiana's statewide graduation rate went up last year, to 88-point-three percent from 86-point-one percent. The Indiana Department of Education also reported an 87-percent rate, based on the federal method of calculating the percentage, which exempts fewer students  Lowell and Calumet High Schools posted some of the biggest gains in graduation rates in the Region, accoding to figures released by the state Monday.
