Police in Gary are investigating three separate shooting incident Thursday night into this morning, one of which has resulted in a homicide investigation. Corp. Gabrielle King says police were called out to the five-thousand block of Pennsylvania Street at 6:30 this morning for a man down, and arrived to find Bryan Cooke, of Gary, unresponsive in the street. Corp. King say a man who lives in the area found the man 46 year old this morning and called police.
Corp. King says another incident took just before 9pm Thursday, where a 32 year old man reported he was shot in an alley at 38th and Lincoln, and yet another shooting was reported around 10:20 Thursday night, in the 38-hundred block of Tennessee. Police say a 32 year old man went home after he was informed his alarm was going off, upon arrival, police say he noticed things out of place, and as he approached his home, he was shot in the leg. Corp. King says he was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to contact Gary Police.
