CP Home Damaged by 2012 Fire to be Demolished

A Crown Point home that has been sitting vacant since a fire in February of 2012 has been approved for demolition. City officials today (Wednesday) approved allowing the demolition of the burned-out home and put a lien on the property, located in the 95-hundred block of Johnson Street. Officials say it poses a health and safety risk to the community, and will prevent property values on other homes in the vicinity from being impacted.
