Two 12 Year old Girls Caught with Stolen Property from Vehicles

Two 12 year old girls were taken into custody today by LaPorte Police on charges of receiving stolen property and curfew violation and were transported to the juvenile services center. LaPorte Police report they received a call today, in the area of the Roselawn Apartment Complex, of two young females possibly breaking into vehicles. Police say the girls were located at West 10th and K Street, carrying large bags, with one girl having a large amount of cash hanging out of her shirt, who both later admitted to breaking into vehicles and that their bags contained over one-thousand dollars in property from the vehicles parked in the apartment complex.
