The population keeps growing at the Cook County Jail and if trends continue, the Sheriff's Office reports hard-earned legal successes will be jeopardized.  As of Tuesday, the Cook County Jail population stood at ten-thousand-182, a three-point-seven percent increase in just the last 11 days, and its the jail's highest population since October 11th, 2007.
