Guilty Plea Given by Merrillville Man in Fraud Scheme

A 56 year old Merrillville man accused of defrauding friends in an investment scheme of one-point-five million dollars pleaded guilty today to two counts of wire fraud in Hammond Federal Court. The Times reports Eugene Wilson Sr. admitted to the charges and faces up to 20 years and fines of up to 250-thousand dollars.
