Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller joined with his counterparts in 39 other states today, calling on the FDA to place restrictions on the sale of electronic cigarettes. Zoeller says there are no federal age restrictions to prevent children from obtaining e-cigarettes and if left unregulated, the state's youth may use them as a gateway to smoking. According to a survey from the CDC, one-point-eight million middle and high school students have tried e-cigarettes in 2012. E-cigarettes are battery operated products that heat nicotine into a vapor that is inhaled by the user.
