Improving Civil Legal Services to Low Income Hoosiers

A statewide commission was established this week by the Indiana Supreme Court to develop a five-year plan to improve the availability of civil legal services for low-income Hoosiers. The Indiana Commission to Expand Access to Civil Legal Services is expected to meet four times a year and must provide the court with a progress report by June 30th. The Commission is meant to study groups and organizations that already provide services to low-income Hoosiers and improve cooperation between them.
