Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

Yesterday, I was in the restroom listening to these two women complain about the size of their engagement rings! The one said she was disappointed that her fiance didn't spend more to pick out a bigger ring... what?!?!? I am a totally opposite bride... I would have been mad if I found out Rob spent too much on my ring! I tried looking up the standard for engagement rings and found most people expect to spend 2-3 months worth of salary! WHAT!!! Wanna send a big thank you for coming out to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk yesterday at Hidden Lake Park!!! Mother Nature couldn't slow you down in helping to raise money for a great cause! It's estimated that a total of 2,500 people helped raise over $200,000 at both walks in our area! (Valpo one was held previously!) I was honored to be a part of the event this year and loved my gift! You can still make a donation here!

The other day my best friend, who is a teacher, was talking about the stress picture day causes in her school! She says it's one of her least favorite days of the year, cause she has to not only make sure she looks presentable, but that all her little rugrats look perfect! I am a horrible picture taker, so picture days were never my favorite!

However, this poor girl's story might top them all! Her yearbook photo was made to look like she had three eyes!!! (Check Out Full Story Here) Could you imagine?!?! As if being a kid isn't hard enough already! We wanna hear or see your best yearbook photos on Facebook! (There's one of mine above! Man I loved that vest!!!)
