Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

The house hunt began again yesterday, and I realized I really am a child! Rob and our Realtor Melissa must want to kill me as we look at houses! I found the most awesome swing set to play on last night at a house! I was having the time of my life when I hear in unison “Annie, get down!” Needless to say, awesome swing set NOT so awesome house!
I also realized you see the strangest things when you are looking at other people's houses! Sometimes the personal items you see when opening a closet are kinda creepy! Hide that stuff!!!
Ahh oh well... guess we'll continue next week!

There is this campaign going around on Facebook this month that has you listing what you are thankful for everyday as we count down to Thanksgiving. I know I am a little late, but I thought we'd start this morning! Today I am thankful for all those who fought for me to have the right to vote in yesterday's election. I don't care what side of the political spectrum you land on... if you voted, thank you.
Yesterday, was the first time I voted in person and I got pretty emotional. Could you imagine someone telling you you couldn't vote because of the color of your skin or because you were female? This country is great because we all have a voice. Yes, some voices may be heard louder then others... but on election day, we are all equal.
Now you may call me naive, but that in itself is reason to be thankful.

I'm dealing with the worst stomach ache this morning! Ugh, I hate starting the day off that way! After looking back on what I ate yesterday, it's not hard to see why:
While At Work:
A V8 Energy Drink
3 Mini Chocolate Donuts
Milk
Water
Fast Forward To 2pm:
Bowl of Beef Stew with Bread
Green Tea
Random Apple Slice from my mother
Fast Forward To 7pm:
Whoops forgot dinner... let's see hmmm a peanut energy bar and chocolate milk from the gas station!
During Volleyball:
Drank a bottle of water then off to bed!
Ewww no wonder I could never keep a food journal like some dieting plans ask you to do! This is kind of embarrassing!!! Might wanna work on changing that!
