WOMAN HIT WITH $100K IN PARKING FINES AT O'HARE, BLAMES EX

A Chicago judge has dismissed a lawsuit by a woman fighting $105,000 in parking fines by blaming an ex-boyfriend for abandoning a car registered to her. Jennifer Fitzgerald's lawsuit against the city of Chicago and her ex-boyfriend, Brandon Preveau, alleges the $105,000 in unpaid parking tickets were a result of Preveau -- Fitzgerald said she could not retrieve the car from the lot because she does not have access to the employee lot at O'Hare and Preveau was the only one who had keys for the vehicle.

DRUNK AND EMOTIONAL PEOPLE ARE THE MOST LIKELY TO LOG ON TO FB

People who are drunk and anxious are most likely to be emotionally connected to Facebook, according to new research. A doctoral student has also discovered that people who use marijuana are less likely to be emotionally connected to the social networking site. Russell Clayton, from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, wanted to discover how involved Facebook’s one billion users become in the site. Heavy drinkers and people who are very anxious are most likely to be emotionally connected to Facebook.

VOICE OF CHARLIE BROWN PLEADS GUILTY TO STALKING CHARGES

The “voice of Charlie Brown,” 56-year-old Peter Robbins, has pled guilty to charges of stalking and making criminal threats in a San Diego, California court. Robbins has voiced Charlie Brown for decades, but the man who supplied the vocals for the beloved Peanuts character faces serious consequences after his January arrest. The charges stem from an alleged pattern of harassment aimed at former girlfriend Shawna Kern as well as a cosmetic surgeon who performed a procedure on Kern for which Robbins paid.

WOMAN THOUGHT SHE WON $40,000 - SHE ACTUALLY WON $40 MILLION

A Toronto woman thought she had won a $40,000 Lotto Max prize, but after her daughter checked on the Internet she discovered it was really $40 million. Maria Carreiro was quite animated as she described how she checked the ticket the first time at the local store Saturday morning, thinking she had won just a fraction of the April 5 draw. Her daughter later checked the OLG website and said “Mommy, you’re $40 million richer.” The 51-year-old grandmother and her daughter were still jumping up and down with excitement as they picked up her check Monday at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming office in Toronto.

TARGET FORCED TO RENAME WOMEN'S “ORINA” SANDAL AFTER DISCOVERING STYLE NAME MEANS “URINE” IN SPANISH

Target has been forced to rename a women's line of footwear called “Orina” after discovering the word means “urine” in Spanish. The retailer became aware of the unsavory meaning about a week ago and the collection of sandals have since been removed from its website with an error message appearing in their place. The Latin Times deemed the mislabeling an “epic fail,” especially considering the “large percentage of Spanish-speakers that shop at the chain store.” The shoes, which were priced at $22 and came in three color variations, hit the shelves in February. A spokesman for Target explained to the Huffington Post that they chose to name the range “Orina” on the basis that it stood for “peace” or “peaceful.” Consumers were quick to poke fun at the error. One commentator wrote on Twitter: “Another good reason to learn Spanish” and another suggested checking the Spanish dictionary next time.

LINDSAY LOHAN DODGES REHAB QUESTIONS DURING DAVID LETTERMAN

Lindsay Lohan appeared on “Letterman” last night. The actress appeared surprised when Letterman brought up the topic of her pending rehab stint. At one point she even turned to the audience and said: "we didn't discuss this in the pre-interview," to explain her obvious discomfort. After noting Lohan has been in rehab before, Letterman asked: "How will this time be different? What are they rehabbing, first of all? What is on their list? What are they going to work on when you walk through the door?" And Lohan said: "I think, to be honest, I'm the happiest when I'm working and the healthiest, and I think this an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life. And I don't think it's a bad thing. I think it's a blessing...and not a curse." Letterman later pressed for details: "Is it, like, alcohol? Do you drink too much?" Lohan: "We've discussed this in the past."

BEARDED WOMAN LOOKING FOR LOVE

Facial hairs appeared on Mariam's face 28 years ago after she gave birth to her son. For almost 20 years, she laboriously tweezed her whiskers but decided, five years ago, to let it grow out. "… it was more like a curiosity," she said. "I wanted to see what would happen to me." What happened to Mariam, 49, was that she grew a lustrous goatee and started a blog. Despite the cruel taunts of anonymous Internet cowards and criticism from her mom, she stuck with it. Mariam now feels sexy and confident and is looking for love. Potential beaus need not worry about her using their razors. The plucky bearded babe plans on keeping her distinctive look.

INDIANS MANAGER GETS LOST

Starting a new job in a strange city can be tough. Just ask Terry Francona. The Cleveland Indians manager lost his way not once but three times during his first two-block walk from his downtown apartment to Progressive Field on Monday. An Indians employee in a golf cart eventually rescued Tito and deposited him at the stadium for the team's home opener against the New York Yankees.
