BUFFETT PLEDGES $1 BILLION FOR PERFECT NCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL BRACKET

Warren Buffett is offering $1 billion to anyone who can correctly guess the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Basketball buffs can win more than bragging rights if they can guess the perfect NCAA bracket for this year's tournament. Warren Buffett has promised a $1 billion prize to any contestant who correctly predicts the winners of all 67 games. The question remains – how likely is it for someone to create the winning bracket? The answer may be more disappointing than inspiring. Bloomberg.com quoted De Paul University math professor Jeff Bergen saying the odds of an individual with zero knowledge of the beloved March Madness season picking every single winning team correctly is less than 1 in 9 quintillion. However, if you do have some expertise in the subject your odds go up to about 1 in 128 billion, according to Bergen.

TOM BRADY SAYS HE WON'T WATCH SUPER BOWL

On Monday, Tom Brady said he won't be watching the Super Bowl between the Seattle Seahawks and Broncos, instead preferring to treat the season as over, per the Boston Herald. "I don’t have much of a rooting interest, truthfully. Those games are hard to watch," Brady said. "I don’t see myself sitting down to enjoy a football game or watch it. Our season is over. Truthfully, I could care less about watching a game. That's pretty much how I feel."

GEORGE CLOONEY PLOTS REVENGE ON TINA FEY FOR JOKE

George Clooney may have skipped last week’s Golden Globes, but he caught wind of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s big monologue joke at his expense — and he plans to exact revenge. Fey said of Gravity, Clooney’s movie with Sandra Bullock, “It’s the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age.” It’s a pretty good line, which Clooney admits. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t plotting against them. “They have poked the bear with a stick… I don’t want to scare Amy or Tina, I don’t want them to be afraid at all...but they poked the bear,” joked Clooney in an interview with "Access Hollywood."

JIMMY FALLON ON WHY U2 WILL BE HIS FIRST "TONIGHT SHOW" GUEST

On February 17, Jimmy Fallon will take over for Jay Leno as the host of NBC's Tonight Show, and his first musical guest that night will be U2.  Fallon told reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour over the weekend that landing the band is something he'd tried to do before, but failed. "When I first started I tried to get U2 as a guest," said Fallon, speaking about his current stint as the host of NBC's Late Night. "And they didn't want to tell me, but at the time they had a secret thing with Letterman. They were doing a week on Letterman. So I couldn't get them. So instead I got the next best Irishman, which is Van Morrison and he came and he was my first musical guest." "So now, hopefully, I have lucky times four," Fallon added.

SHIA LABEOUF APOLOGIZES FOR PUB SPAT

Actor Shia LaBeouf has been caught on tape giving a rambling apology following an alleged pub bust-up in London on Thursday night. The Transformers star allegedly head-butted another patron during a night out at the Hobgoblin in south London, and now video footage which shows him talking about the incident has emerged online. In the film, LaBeouf is seen sitting around a table outside the pub chatting to a group of young British women about the bust-up. He says, “I’m not trying to have any more problems. You know what I’m saying…I’m really just trying to make peace. I mean, I’m a normal human being. I accept what I gotta get into to do what I love. And I’m not trying to s**t on nobody. I am a human being. I’m super normal, I am super normal.

DENNIS RODMAN IN REHAB

Dennis Rodman checked into an alcohol rehabilitation center to seek treatment for his long-time struggle with alcoholism, his agent said.  Dennis Prince declined to disclose which facility will treat the star.  "What was potentially a historic and monumental event turned into a nightmare for everyone concerned," Prince said, according to The Associated Press. "Dennis Rodman came back from North Korea in pretty rough shape emotionally. The pressure that was put on him to be a combination 'super human' political figure and 'fixer' got the better of him.  He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused."
