"DANCING WITH THE STARS" THEME - CO-HOST BROOKE BURKE-CHARVET LET GO FROM DANCING WITH THE STARS

When Dancing with the Stars returns for its 18th season on March 17, there will be at least one notable absence. It was confirmed on Friday that co-host Brooke Burke-Charset will not be returning to the dance floor after seven seasons alongside Tom Bergeron. Erin Andrews is reportedly replacing Brooke Burke as the new co-host of “Dancing with the Stars.” The sportscaster is well familiar with the show, having competed on Season 10 with pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Season 18 premieres on March 17.

THOUSANDS MISTAKENLY BELIEVE FOOTAGE OF LAST YEAR'S DAYTONA 500 WAS THIS YEAR'S RACE AS 2013'S WINNER JIMMIE JOHNSON GETS AN OUTPOURING OF CONGRATULATIONS WHILE SITTING IN HIS MOTORHOME

Jimmie Johnson's phone started blowing up yesterday while he was sitting in his motorhome — nowhere near Victory Lane. Johnson was hailed as the Daytona 500 champion all over the place yesterday - he was trending on Twitter and even had friends congratulating him via text message — despite the race being in a rain delay. Showers halted the race after 38 laps. Fox Sports responded by showing a replay of last year's season opener, the one in which Johnson won his second 500 and Danica Patrick made history by becoming the first woman to lead laps in The Great American Race. Fox ran a crawl across the bottom of the screen, saying the 2013 race was being shown while yesterday’s race was being delayed because of rain. But thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of people failed to get the message. “I hear I won the #Daytona500?” Johnson posted on Twitter. “Haha! I also have friends confused and texting congratulations to me.” Fellow drivers had fun with the widespread error, too. “Wait a minute! I'm confused, did @JimmieJohnson win or not?” Clint Bowyer tweeted.

REPORT: SPACE JAM SEQUEL STARRING LEBRON JAMES IN THE WORKS

Warner Bros. is reportedly making a Space Jam sequel starring LeBron James, according to Deadline. According to the report, Charlie and Willie Ebersol will develop the sequel, with Willie penning the script. The son of broadcasting veteran Dick Ebersol, Charlie most recently produced The Moment and NFL Characters Unite for USA Network. Charlie tweeted the news earlier on Saturday. James has yet to confirm the project, and ESPN says the NBA star's reps have denied the report. The original Space Jam, which was released in 1996, starred Michael Jordan and grossed $230 million worldwide.
