Hobart recently completed a downtown study with several action items that'll be tackled by redevelopment commission and staff in the months to come, according to the city's Director of Development for Hobart, Denarie Kane.. and Kane says central to that is attracting a restaurant to the old police station building.  Kane says the building is for sale and the city is putting together an incentive package to help someone convert that building to a restaurant venue.  Specifics are expected to be rolled out in a month or two.  The old station is right along the lakefront of Lake George in downtown Hobart.
