A message from CITY OF HOBART
The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures to be in the high 90s to 100 degrees throughout the remainder of the week. To assist residents, the City of Hobart has established the Festival Park Community Center as a cooling center until the current heat wave subsides. The Community Center is located at 111 E. Old Ridge Road, directly behind Lake Park Restaurant in Festival Park. The Center will be open during normal business hours. However, residents who may need special assistance are asked to call 219-942-1125. 9-1-1 should ONLY be used in an emergency. Residents are encouraged to stay in contact with family and friends to make sure their needs are met. Be sure that pets are taken care of properly and kept in a cool location out of direct sunlight. Thank you and have a safe Fourth of July holiday.
