Arrests Made in Highland Graffiti

Police in Highland have arrested two male juveniles in connection with a rash of graffiti in the Meadows subdivision late Thursday night. Charges are pending and additional arrests are possible. Officers investigated twelve overnight cases of mailboxes, garage doors and vehicles spray-painted in the 2000 block of Azalea Drive. Thousands of dollars in damage was reported and police say they'll be seeking restitution for the victims. Investigators believe some of the same suspects may be responsible for incidents of graffiti last month in Highland and Munster, and both police departments are jointly working those cases. Police say none of the graffiti was gang-related.
