Election Day is drawing ever-closer. The Valparaiso Chamber has organized two upcoming election forums. One is tonight, 7pm, at the Valpo Chamber office on Lincolnway, featuring candidates for Indiana State Representative fourth and fifth districts. An additional forum for county offices is scheduled October 23rd, 7pm, at the Memorial Opera House, with candidates for County Commissioner first and third district, and county council at-large. Both are open to the public and reservations are NOT required.

Meanwhile, the Hammond Council P-T-A invites the public to a candidates night forum for Hammond School Board, tonight from 6-8pm at the School City of Hammond Administration Center on Williams Street.
