A lock down of two Michigan City schools has been lifted after police reported several gunshots in the area around 8 this morning. The Times reports, as a precaution, Elston Middle School and Saint Paul Lutheran School were placed on lock down, after shots were reported in the area of 11th and Spring Street. Michigan City Police report, at last check, there were no injuries, but according to published reports, a vehicle was shot multiple times. No further information is available at this time.
