Motorists are dealing with traffic backups after a semi rolled over onto its side while entering the Indiana Toll Road off State Road 49 this afternoon. Callers report traffic is not being allowed onto to the Toll Road at this time, with both north and southbound traffic experiencing backups and delays due to the accident. Chesterton Police is asking motorists to avoid the area to crews can work to get things resolved, and that Indiana State Police at the Toll Road is handling the incident. No further information is available at this time.
