GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS
From last night's Golden Globe Awards. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the show. Big winners included 12 Years As A Slave for best Drama and American Hustle for Best Musical or Comedy. The beloved, departed AMC series "Breaking Bad," meanwhile, topped the television categories, winning Best TV Series, Drama and Best Actor (Bryan Cranston). (I loved how everyone had to squeeze around tables to get to stage.)
RED CARPET SHUT DOWN BY BURST PIPE
The 2014 Golden Globes Awards red carpet was a bit of a wash -- a burst pipe flooded a large section of the carpet shortly before celebrities began to arrive. Somewhere between one-fifth and one-third of the carpet was affected by the leak, leaving a messy puddle in the middle of the luxurious path. Beverly Hills firemen were required to vacuum up the water, while press set up in the area were moved elsewhere.
RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS TO PLAY SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW

There's no word on which songs the acts will perform.
PAUL MCCARTNEY'S SIGNATURE RANKS AMONG "TOP 10 MOST VALUABLE LIVING AUTOGRAPHS"
According to a new list compiled by Paul Fraser Collectibles -- a British firm that specializes in high-end items like stamps, vintage wine and celebrity memorabilia -- Paul McCartney’s autograph is more valuable than any other entertainer who's still with us. McCartney ranks third overall on the U.K. company's latest annual index of the "Top 10 Most Valuable Living Autographs," with a signature that's worth an average of $3,275. The tally cites Sir Paul's huge fan base as a major reason why his "John Hancock" is so pricey, and reports that its value has increased 20.6 percent annually since 2000. Next on the list is Bob Dylan, with an autograph worth just under $3,220, because he's so reclusive and his signature is rare.
