Annie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana with her younger sister and parents in Hammond. After spending some time out of the area chasing the radio dream she has moved back to start a family with her two main men: Jager the mutt and fiance Rob. When she is not on the air Annie enjoys cheering her favorite Chicago sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls, And Da Sox), hiking, and exploring new fairs and festivals! (Anything Deep Fried she's in!) Annie cannot wait to share her life with you on air and is excited to be back in the Region doing what she loves!

When are we all gunna learn what you put on Facebook can get you in serious trouble!?! We were just talking about how old should you be to be online and this is another example of why that age might need to be higher. By now you probably have heard of the three Griffith High School students who were expelled for their Facebook comments. (Read full story here) Now, I'm not going to get into whether or not their threats were serious or not, either way they shouldn't have been said at all! (Let alone put on Facebook!) What would have happened if the threats were serious and the school officials ignored the warning signs? I bet we'd be dealing with a much different lawsuit!

What do you think about this story? Should the students be allowed back in school? Let's talk about it on Facebook!
