A  The allure to radio came from the free albums and concert tickets I would win. I figured if I hung around the station long enough, they would either have me arrested or hire me. If I wasn’t doing this, I'd be running a lobster and crab restaurant in Negril, Jamaica. The island is my favorite vacation spot – like they say, “Once you go you know”. My favorite movie is "A Fist Full Of Yen", but everything you need to know in life you can learn from The Godfather and Bugs Bunny.  My biggest pet peeve is people with pet peeves. My favorite artists are Monet, Van Gogh, Steely Dan and Queen. I would have loved have met the Marx Brothers and the Three Stooges just to sit in the middle of the two and let them go at it. L Laura Waluszko was born in Gary, Indiana, and attended River Forest High School (home of the Ingots) in Hobart Township.  She got her bachelor's degree in communications/radio and television from Purdue University and a master's in journalism from Indiana University -- and roots for both, even when they play each other.

She has won awards from the Indiana Broadcasters Association, Society of Professional Journalists (Indy Pro Chapter), Network Indiana, and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Writing is what brought her into radio, knowing she wanted to write even back in grade school (though as a kid she also thought about becoming an astronomer).  She says office supply stores are among her favorite places to visit, so it's not surprising when we asked for a pet peeve she would reply pens and/or pencils that have been chewed on. In her little spare time, she enjoys crossword puzzles.

Laura watched her share of game shows growing up then went out to California one summer and ended up being a contestant on one of them ("Sale of the Century").   TV-wise, her favorites include The Honeymooners, The Big Bang Theory, Project Runway, Seinfeld and Star Trek (TNG and the original)

V Veronica is a California Girl through and through (not to be confused with a Valley Girl). She's goofy, carefree, and reliable. She was born in Santa Cruz, CA. She later attended Yreka High and Sacramento State university. Veronica now resides in Valparaiso with her family. Her biggest accomplishment - being able to be a working mom. She ventured into radio because people always told her she had a good voice. Growing up, she wanted to be a princess. Every Halloween she would dress up as one.  Veronica lives by her favorite quote "live well, love much, laugh often". Veronica enjoys cooking, going for walks, reading, and spending time with her family. Outside of cooking shows the only television show she watches is Lost. She's not a big tv person. She loves the movie, Christmas Story. She listens to all kinds of music, but her favorites include: Collective Soul, Def Leppard, Jars of Clay, and Keith Urban (her one and only country venture). Since she's not a big fan of celebrities, she would love to meet an influential person like Bill Gates just to see what it's like to have money.
