Favorite local getaway: I really like walking around the Crown Point
square. I love sitting on my front porch in the summer, watching all the woodland animals and the enjoying nature.

My favorite NW Indiana festival would have to be the Pierogie Fest in Whiting. I love pierogies and there's so much there to look at and enjoy!

Where Did Warren Go?

So, I am a little bummed out.....
It's been nearly three weeks, and no sign of my bat, Warren Batty. I don't understand where he could have went! I look for him every night in the corner he always sleeps in and he hasn't been there. I am hoping for the best and that he found a family to belong to.
Good news, though. I did find some bat droppings in another corner on my porch! It could be Warren, but I think it's another bat that came to stay at my house last year that I named Batty Page.

I Met Weird Al!

That's me and Weird Al! He is a genuinely nice and friendly person. Besides both being weird, another thing that Al and I have in common is that we are both only children. Pretty neat!
